Today is my awesome husband's birthday :)

We'll be celebrating later tonight, probably just going to have a few friends over for dinner and drinks. He has the mentality of an old man and doesn't want to make a big deal out of his birthday, but I do.  So I figured I'd do a little giveaway just because. Musical Monday 7/9

Framing Hanley is my new musical obsession lately. I discovered them a long time ago, back when they did a cover of Lil Wayne's Lollipop. I'm not a fan the original, but their version is so damn seductive. I was taking a trip down memory lane and listened to that song and started clicking around their other songs. Me gusta.


Plus, holy crap, check out that lead singer. Kenneth Nixon, my goodness... He's mine! I call dibs!

6 Sentence Sunday 7/8

This Friday, Snow White and the Hitman comes out. I just got over my nerves about Hero, but I'm just as nervous this time around, so here's to hoping it does well. I hope everyone enjoys another 6 sentences from my upcoming release.

There was nothing but road as far as the eye could see. She was far from any other sort of civilization.

Cars sped by without so much as slowing down and still, Darcy held out her hitchhiker’s thumb high in the air. Finally, a van slowed to a stop on the shoulder a few feet away from her. She was about to check if there was “Free Candy” spray painted on the side, when two quite rubenesque women stepped out to greet her. As they got closer, Darcy realized they had to be drag queens.

Snow White cover reveal

So, my next novella is set to release July 13th! Like I've said before, it's different than what I normally do, but I think the story is a lot of fun and hope that everyone will enjoy it.

Blurb: Darcy King has had enough. He changes his ways and when Darcy’s friend, Nick Prince, discovers that Darcy just might be the rightful heir to her father’s fashion empire, he dedicates himself to helping her claim her birthright. After a poisoned martini nearly derails their plans, Nick and Aric can’t seem to get over their disagreement about which one of them deserves Darcy’s affections.

Darcy is tired of others directing her life and decides to finally start taking what she wants.

Musical Monday 7/2

I'm just in an inexplicable good mood. It might be the epic, heartwarming bro-hug on Army Wives last night. It was seriously beautiful. I didn't cry, but I did make a weird "Meep" sound that I'm seriously glad no one else heard.


Anyway, this week's song is one of my favorites. I seriously love The Beatles and this song, which you probably could have guessed from my tattoo :)

P.S. I don't actually own the shoes in the picture. I tried them on in the mall. And then I fell after taking the picture.

This week's 6 comes from my upcoming novella in Evernight Publishing's Naughty Fairy Tale line, Snow White and the Hitman. I'm still waiting on a cover and I can't wait to get it so I can show you all. I think I'm getting addicted to cover art.

Now, this one is a bit different than my usual work because the main character is female, but I hope you'll all give it a chance because I feel like the story is a lot of fun. And because you love me. Right? Maybe? Please love me...
