Holy crap...Hero comes out tomorrow! Oh my gosh, I'm not ready! Ah! *falls out of chair*
Anyway, to celebrate the impending release of Hero, I thought I'd share the song that started it all.
I was just listening to music one day and this popped up on my playlist. The song immediately put a scene in my head. I built the whole story around this one scene.
WARNING: This song is emotional and might be controversial to some.
About Me
- K. Williams
- I'm an Army wife and aspiring author, published by Evernight Publishing. I primarily write M/M, but I'm starting to branch out. I'm not very good at technology, but I'm hoping this blog gives me the opportunity to communicate with other authors and readers. My life is kept interesting by my soldier, Ringo the chihuahua, and all the amazing people that I consider friends. I also work entirely too much as a coach at a local gym, a caregiver at a church nursery, and a freelance baker.

makes me intrigued to read the story. that's a great song...emotional too. i'd like to see what that inspired.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to :)
DeleteWow!These lyrics are way too realistic. So sad.
ReplyDeleteIt does tug at you.
DeleteJust finished reading. Love this story and your writing style. Great cover pic, by the way. Damn! I'll put a plug up on my blog before I go back to the real world.
ReplyDeleteThanks :) And thanks so much for the review you left!
DeleteNo problem. I'm a big believer in reviews and feedback--good and bad. Most people don't take the time to provide it. (With my story, so few people have left feedback that when they do I'm surprised.) Kinda sucks, so I always make sure to give an opinion to others.
DeleteBy the way, because I was reading Hero, I forgot to wash my husband's underwear. He said to say thanks.
ReplyDeleteI remember crying when I first heard this song because it's true. It's amazing how many people think war is a glorious thing until they experience it. Thanks for sharing.
